Lone Star Creek Vineyard is in some of the best and most beautiful wine growing country in the world. With stunning views of the Yarra Ranges in the Upper Yarra, we have 22 hectares of wine grapes planted on 56 hectares of rolling hills and bushland.
Established by us, Robin Wood and Gillian Bowers, in 1997, we planted Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz varietals.
We produce cool-climate grapes that are usually among the last picked in the region. The combination of rolling hills, variable soil types and viticulture practices has given the vineyard a unique terroir.
Over the years, we have established a solid reputation for quality and consistency in our grape production for a number of renowned Yarra Valley winemakers. We began making our own wine under the Lone Star Creek Vineyard label, with the 2017 vintage being the first commercial release.
We have lived on site since 2013 and are actively involved in the day to day activities of the vineyard.
