Vineyard:

Clone: Own rooted H5V10 – Vines planted in 1999.

Sourced solely from Lonestar Creek Vineyard, Upper Yarra Valley.

Fruit picked in two batches on 2 and 10 March, 2018.

Total crush: 37 dozen

Crushed, pressed & cooled at receival, barrel fermentation.

Maturation on lees in used French Barrique (225l) before transfer to stainless steel prior to bottling. Full malolactic fermentation

Cold stabilised, filtered and bottled 30 September, 2018.

Contains sulphites

Tasting Notes:

An easy drinking cool climate ‘vino verde’ style wine. Classic passionfruit and melon tropical aromas with an underlying hint of grass. A crisp lighter style wine softened by six months in old oak prior to bottling.

Perfect on its own or a great summer food wine.

Vegan friendly: no animal products used
